Who are We?

Panama City Pipes and Drums Inc. is a registered not for profit organization whose charter includes the promotion of Scottish music, tradition, and heritage. The Band achieves this by performing at many community events in the local area and by offering free tuition to people interested in learning to play the pipes or drums to then become performing members of the band.

Prince Charles Edward Stuart tartan Founded in 1998, Panama City Pipes and Drums was the first pipe band to be formed in this part of Florida. The Band started with a group of five and has grown to more than 20 performing members plus students currently in training. The Band wears the Prince Charles Edward Stewart tartan (pictured).

The Band has been well received by thousands of people attending such events as the Jaycees Christmas Parade, the City of Lynn Haven 4th of July Parade, the Panama City Veterans Day Parade, the Port St. Joe Scallop Festival and the Apalachicola Seafood Festival. The Band represents and promotes the Panama City region by traveling to various Scottish festivals and Highland Games held throughout Florida, Georgia, and Alabama.
